Located just a few minutes from Combrew Farm and adjacent to the Tarka Trail, Fremington Quay Café enjoys a prime location overlooking the River Taw. A popular stop-off for cyclists, this riverside cafe offers everything from wonderful cooked breakfasts with fresh coffee, to delicious lunches and afternoon teas. They also serve a wonderful selection of local ice creams and fantastic cakes. All food is prepared with skill and attention to detail using fresh, locally sourced produce.

Fremington Quay Cafe is always a hit with Combrew guests, many of whom visit several times during their stay with us. Whether it’s stopping for an ice cream on the way home from a day’s cycling, or relaxing by the river with a cuppa and a slice of cake, Fremington Quay has something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds! Indoor and outdoor seating is available, making this quirky café a hit in all weathers.

Tea by the Taw is Barnstaple's new tea room, which, as its name suggests, sits next to the River Taw. The new café certainly got off to an amazing start and is well acclaimed by locals and visitors alike. Tea on the Green – Westward Ho!

Tea on the Green sits in the centre of the seaside village of Westward Ho! and boasts some wonderful views of the beach. This vintage themed café serves a wide range of food and drink, including huge 'doorstep' sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and home-made chilli. Their coffee is freshly ground on the premises and they serve a delightful variety of teas.

Pop in on your way to or from the beach to enjoy one of their famous cream teas, all of which are named after movie stars – The Hepburn, The Grant, and The Taylor! After all, if you’re in Devon, it would be rude not to sample a cream tea, right?! All we ask is that you get the cream and jam the right way round!
